Mama Dot was born in the city of Augusta, Georgia. She was a gentle and kind soul with a very distinctive laugh that was heard often.
Mama lived a very humble life full of contentment & joy. She believed in spreading that joy as well as love. One of the ways she was able to accomplish that was through cooking for others. Her good old fashioned soul food put smiles on many faces.
Troy, her youngest son, and the owner of Mama Dot's HOTS works hard to continue the legacy she left by sharing food with all of you. Several of the items on his menu were inspired by food she cooked for him as a child.
He wouldn't have made it to the NFL or turned into the man he is without her support & influence. Mama Dot's HOTS is his way of thanking her for that love.

However, for the right event, we will travel. We can be found in Lincolnton, GA for Football Homecoming every Fall!
