Things to Consider
Waivers are required. Save time by clicking the dropdown, selectingemailing us at info@whisperingdandelionfarm.com for waivers to read, print & sign for everyone in your group.
Closed toed and sturdy old shoes are highly suggested during interactions with all animals. You don't want a 1200 lb animal on a foot in flip flops...it hurts, don't ask me how I know.
Be aware of your surroundings. Some of our animals are extra friendly and unaware of their size or the width of their horns. Flint likes hugs and doesn't always ask. He also likes to scratch your back with his horns while hugging you especially if he thinks you have food.
Approach all animals slowly and calmly as you may scare them and cause them to react in self defense.
No running will be tolerated in the pasture. Watch children closely as we are not responsible for injuries per your waiver.
Kentucky law states that agritourism farms have limited liability and are not required to eliminate all risk.
Certain risks are inherently a part of farm life, such as rough terrain and the unpredictability of animals.
Childrens are required to be closely monitored for their safety as well as the safety of our animals. Unattended children will be sold to the circus.
Mistreatment of our staff or animals will not be tolerated & you may be asked to leave without a refund.
Be prepared to get dirty, be drooled on or step in a pile of something squishy and stinky.
Your tour will last approximately 1 hour but you don't have to leave at the end. There will be other things here to enjoy, such as yard games, a bouncy house, mini horse and cart rides on days the mini's are behaving appropriately to work, and egg gathering.
We have to limit the amount of people in with the animals at any given time, so we will need to keep tours on schedule.
